Christan Trainor

Christan is a upper level rider and trainer, formerly based in North Carolina, USA, now based near Sydney in Australia full time, returning periodically for clinics in the US. To date her greatest riding accomplishments were being long-listed for the 2000 US Olympic Eventing Team and training the 2007 Pan American Gold winner, Theodore O'Connor to the Advanced/FEI level prior to Karen O'Connor taking over the ride on the "Super Pony." Christan currently has several horses she is competing, including a young horse here she acquired recently that is already gaining the admiration of all the dressage judges in Australia. Christan also trained Teddy's full brother, D.C. al Coda, who is now being ridden in GA and one his first several events!

Christan is a very talented upper level event rider (who was long listed for the Olympic team in 2000 at 18 years old!) whose most famous partner is probably just this one little pony named Theodore O'Connor, who just so happened to take the Eventing world by storm under his last rider by winning virtually every horse of the year title as well as team and individual gold at the Pan Am games. Christan takes great pride in being the one to take Teddy from a Training Level Eventer to an FEI level star before Karen O'Connor taking over the ride. Christan now has a new string of talented Eventers coming up the ranks that she is currently bringing along- All Purpose Brown, along with several other young prospects and clients' horses. Many show talent for the international Eventing scene, so keep your eyes open for Christan and these horses in the coming years! Her plan is to do the Adelaide CCI** here in November, and the CCI**** in Adelaide next year! She just finished up third in Eventing Equestriad CIC*.
