The Bear Spot Foundation for Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (www.bearspotfoundation.org) provides traditional psychotherapy in a non-traditional setting using horses as therapeutic catalyst. The Foundation's programs address the needs of clients with affective disorders (like depression), ADD/ADHD, anorexia, bulimia and concerns related to low self-esteem, separation and loss and anxiety and phobias.
The annual Freestyle Event takes place at Bear Spot Farm in Concord, Massachusetts each October as a fundraising effort. Top national and international Grand Prix Dressage riders donate their time and talent performing their musical kurs in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
